Company Profile
The Wavecrest Management
Team Ltd. is a full service management company which began operations in
1979 when we took over the management of Wavecrest Gardens, a 1,650 unit,
38 building development located in Far Rockaway, New York. With no
available capital other than the cash flow from the buildings and faced
with a complex that was operating at a high deficit, we began our work. We
learned rather quickly that you had to maximize your income while
controlling costs. We turned Wavecrest Gardens around and these same
techniques are presently used in buildings that we manage for private
investors, non-profit organizations, cooperatives and condominiums,
financial institutions and quasi-government agencies.
Today the Wavecrest Management
Team Ltd. manages approximately 9,500 units in over 135 buildings in the
New York metropolitan area. Our specialty is the management of
affordable rental housing and cooperative/condominium housing with the
majority of the buildings we manage being located primarily in
Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens and Brooklyn.
Wavecrest employs 40 full-time
individuals to carry out the services necessary to properly manage its
portfolio of units. While our main
office is located in Queens, we have a site offices in The Bronx,
Brooklyn and Manhattan.
